The Googling by The Vacationeers is Out of this World

I am a Google fanboy, I’ll admit that whole-heartedly. I find it amusing that Just following Halloween I came across this video by a comedy troup that goes by the name “The Vacationeers” on YouTube. After watching the sketch it is no surprise why this video has gathered over 2 MILLION views on YouTube! The only surprise here is how the heck it slipped past my radar.
When street-view was introduced into Google Maps there was some hype about privacy issues–would lawsuits swarm Google like a locust swarm from the apocalypse? To date I can’t say I’ve come across any such issues. I also haven’t flexed my Googlefu muscles either!
I’m going to assume that Google Maps street-view is being adopted by voyeurs everywhere as another internet passtime. This parody makes un all remember that Big Brother is closer than we all ever wanted to imagine.
Just don’t look at it directly and MAYBE then you can pretend it doesn’t exist.
Just like aliens.
Or the jackalope.
