The November issue of Blueprint Magazine, volume 10, issue 4, the theme was “Money” and this turned out to be a very difficult theme to find a piece about that was a little more than the obvious “money is evil” angle.
The bird-thing in this piece was an early developed character in the World of Hellmouth, designed by Pablo Peppino, named “The Cuckoo King”. He’s a vulture demon gone insane. This speaks of the idea of how people who live in poverty seem to enjoy life more, they tend to enjoy moments and interactions happily, other than the hustle and bustle of large rich cities that are consumed by technology and getting to the next place as fast as possible that they forget to enjoy special moments they pass by until it’s too late.
