“Aquaman’s Lament” by The Motion Sick

This video of amalgamated animated footage of superheroes from the good ol’ days to modern DVD releases focuses on getting one message across: Aquaman can speak with fish. Indie band The Motion Sick perform a tribute song that focuses on the universal ongoing joke that is Aquaman’s powers. Satire or not, it’s nice to see Aquaman get some attention–anyway he can.
It seems like a disappointing power to have, but I’ll let a quote by Aquaman Shrine blogger, Rob end this blog off with some thoughts to consider:
I think Aquaman enjoys talking to fish. I bet there were days when, in the middle of enduring another self-righteous tirade from Green Arrow on the JLA satellite, Aquaman thought to himself, “I’d rather be talking to a grouper right now.”
I never realized how tedious and frustrating daily summoning of the denizens of the deep could be, along with a sidekick you call findly “tadpole.”
