This is a digital series done September 2011. It uses panels from the golden age comic “Web of Mystery #2″ (1951) by Ace Books. Digital collage, texture work and layering are used to create new art work intended for high quality prints.

It tells the strange tale of a woman, Lola, that appears to a man, Roy, who goes unconscious while diving into Loon Lake. He finds her, she takes him to her submerged cave home, he talks to her, and learns that she needs his help so that she can sleep because she is so tired. After submerging from the lake, Roy becomes restless himself. The next day he heads back into the lake to discover Lola has been dead many years, her ankle trapped under a root.
